Ladakh Jeep Safari Tour

Day 06 : Leh-Khardongla pass-leh 85km drive by jeep\motor bikes. With a height of 5600 m, the pass is the higest motorable road and has been recorded in guniess book. Enjoy the beautiful snow-clad mountains, at the top.


Day 07 : Reach Leh-Lamayaru by jeep via likir and Rizong valleys. When arrived visit monastery of Lamayaru which is the oldest and the biggest monastery of ladakh. Stay in tents overnight.


Day 08 : Lamayaru-Wanla. Today is first day to start trekking immediately steep down and cross the stream. Now gradually climbing across mountain side, reach Prinkiti la (3720 mts) and continue walk to shilla. Then to wanla where you can visit the monastery. This trek takes 4-5 hrs over night in tents.


Day 09 : Wanla-Urshi is a 6 to 7 hrs trek. Depart in morning and climb up to destination. Stay in tents over night.


Day 10 : Urshi-Tarla-Tar is a 8 to 9 hrs trek. This is a difficult day, but the panoramic views let the difficulties fade away. The path is well marked and steep ascending up to Tarla (5250 mts). Continue trek and arrive in the village of Tar. Stay in tents over night.


Day 11 : Tar-Mang-Gyu is 4 to 5 hrs trek .The path rises up along Mountain side to a small pass and then the path slowly goes down towards Mang-Gyu. This is an attractive village with an interesting monastery, and good camp site near the stream. Stay in tents over night.


Day 12 : Mang-gyu-Gera-Alachi is a 4 to 5 hrs trek. It has a good path in to beautiful narrow valley, after 2 hrs you reach Indus valley at Gera village that follows the Indus up stream cross lardo. Continue until you reach a motor able road 3km before Alachi. Another 1 hr walk will take you to Alachi Monasetry. Stay in tents over night.

Day 13 : Alachi, a 2 hrs drive to Leh, when arrived check in hotel and spend the spare time at leisure.


Day 14 : Spend the whole day sight seeing by jeep\motor bikes to shey,Tiksey, and Hemis monastery.


Day 15 : A half day tour of shanker gompa, shanti stupa, and leh palace by Jeep\ motobikes..


Day 16 : Sight seeing tour of stock palace, museum and refugee camp at choglomsar which offers beautiful view of leh town. After noon is free for shopping in bazaar.


Day 17 : Move to airport to board flight for Delhi. After arriving in Delhi you will be received and drive to hotel near airport. The rest of the day is free for rest. Late evening move to International airport to catch flight for home. Thus the Tour ends with happy memories.
